Part of a series of pictures taken during a day trip to Blackpool "to see the lights" *(those cheap, tacky illuminations everyone says are so wonderful. If you've never visited- imagine a bank-foreclosure Vegas on the edge of the Atlantic!)
I dont like the place myself- the town, the illuminations, or especially the visitors the town attracts (drunks and bums, and Glaswegians) but Jen loves going- and we took a friend along. It was shockingly cold, as usual, but not actually raining this time- so I got a few interesting shots of the sky. = This is a pic at about 7pm of the sky looking westward from the North Pier towards Ireland. Totally untouched/shopped, just cropped, a stunning sky, half-decent camera and third-rate photographer. Enjoy. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
